Planting & Care

Light: They thrive in bright, indirect sunlight. Insufficient light can lead to leggy growth, while direct sunlight may scorch their leaves.

Water:  Fiddle Leaf Figs prefer evenly moist soil but are sensitive to overwatering. Water the plant when the top  of soil feels dry to the touch. Ensure proper drainage in the pot to prevent root rot. During the growing season spring and summer, they may require more frequent watering.

Fertilizer: Feed your Fiddle Leaf Fig with a balanced, water-soluble fertilizer during the growing season (spring and summer) every 4-6 weeks. Reduce or suspend fertilization in the Autumn and winter.

Temperature: Fiddle Leaf Figs prefer temperatures between 65°F and 75°F (18°C to 24°C) and are sensitive to temperature fluctuations. Protect them from drafts and extreme cold.

Potting: Repot your Fiddle Leaf Fig as needed when it becomes root-bound. Choose a well-draining potting mix and a slightly larger pot to allow room for growth.

Pruning: Prune your Fiddle Leaf Fig to maintain its shape and remove any damaged or unsightly leaves. You can also encourage branching and bushier growth through selective pruning.
